Liberal Slug Michael Moore Shows His Hyprocrisy

slugLiberal activist and documentary “filmmaker” Michael Moore once again displayed his predilection for hypocrisy after posting a recent blog entry entitled “Celebrating the Prince of Peace in the Land of Guns”. In his piece, Moore evoked support for stronger gun laws, including banning all automatic (which are already banned) and *all* semiautomatic weapons, banning magazines that hold more than seven rounds, and regulating ammunition.

The Electoral College Needs To Go

While it would not have made any difference in the 2012 Presidential election, there are many arguments to be made as to the archaic nature of the Electoral College and why it needs to be phased out. Created in 1787 as a compromise between allowing densely populated areas familiar with the candidate from determining the outcome to preventing Congress from choosing the President, the Electoral College allows voters to vote for electors, who then cast their vote for the candidate.

When created, this plan weighted the number of electors to provide equal representation between populous and less populous states, which was a good idea at the time.
